OMPR, IBM ANNOUNCE HEADLINERS IN SAN FRANCISCO GDC PAVILION

NEW YORK, NY, Dec. 31, 2008. OMPR (Online Marketing and Public Relations) and IBM have organized a Pavilion at the San Francisco Game Developer Conference headlining several companies including CDC Games, Icarus Studios/Fallen Earth, Terremark Worldwide, PlayXpert, GameTank, and XXtreme Support Services.

CDC Games plans to launch Lunia Online, an arcade-style MMORPG based on the Manga comic art form, in North America during the first quarter of 2008. 3D virtual worlds creator Icarus Studios will showcase the latest developments in upcoming MMO Fallen Earth which uses the Icarus development platform. Fallen Earth will demo three new sections of gameplay with an entirely new set of environments, normal mapping, and new textures.

PlayXpert provides next-generation in-game community management tools which address a core need in the growing MMOG market. Combining universal in-game overlay technology with an extensible .widget. architecture, PlayXpert delivers the community platform that works across all games and enables players to engage in their favorite activities without alt-tab.

GameTank will show a new music game in development called Guitar Rising in which players use a real electric guitar to rock out to Guitar Rising.s driving songs and rhythms, enabling them to learn while they play. Visitors are encouraged to participate in .live. demonstrations in the Pavilion.

XXtreme Support Services, an independent game services outsourcing vendor in South America, delivers high quality support for a variety of high end and online Java games. In addition to customer support, they also offer technical support, member services, server monitoring, and a variety of other services including game testing.
